Princeton Football versus Wakeland

Last Friday I got to fill in for Victor Tapia and shoot Princeton football. Also once again in glorious Pizza Hut Park! The boys played really good, and for the most part held Wakeland to a tie game until the third quarter. They actually ran up the middle 90% of the time, a strategy that actually worked for the most part. A really interesting note about the game is that there was only one punt in the entire game and it came at 1:48 left in the fourth quarter! How weird is that? It wasn’t a case of high scoring, because it wasn’t (only 7 to 7 at half). Both teams found themselves in their respective 4th down situations around the 40 or 35 (too long for field goal, too short to punt).  Anyways the at the beginning of the third quarter, momentum shifted and wheels fell off with long catches and turnovers. Wakeland ended up something like 35 to 7.

Sachse Football versus South

Well the boys played South Garland. I really looking forward too much to this game because this year South’s team is by far number one in our district! But Sachse suprised all of us. They were actually up 14 – 7 at halftime! This was after forcing 3 turnovers in the first quarter! The defense was spectactular.–BUT, about midway through the third quarter South started connecting all their medium and long passes and proceeded to walk all over the boys. Sachse’s team played their hearts out and I would label this the game of the year for them for sure!

Isabella Grace

Introducing Isabella! What a well behaved little one! and cute to boot!

Sachse Vball Last Game

It’s the last game of the season and the girls beat Naaman Forest 3-1 (last night). They played really well – especially the first two games. Great Job!  The last image was the game-match-point winner.

Good luck, ladies… C’ya soon for the playoffs!

Baby Davis

Davis has awesome brothers. They were protective, playful and well-behaved. You guys have a great family!

Baby Mason

Here’s Mason! His Dad called him tomato–because when he got mad he would turn beat red. Luckily, I didn’t get to see much of that!

Luke Andrew

OK.. this little one was absolutely perfect! He’s so cute.

Newborn – Jackson

Also from last Friday…. presenting Jackson (and proud parents). What a lovely family! Jackson was a perfect angel.

Newborn – Carter

Last Friday I had the pleasure of photographing Carter (from Fort Worth). He’s probably a future Horn-Frog as mom is an avid fan and alumna. Happy anniversary, guys!

Sachse Football takes one from Naaman

Sachse Varsity played very well Friday night, but it wasn’t enough to topple Naaman Forest. The drew blood first, which was promising and it was only a 12 point game at the half… but Naaman took control of everything mid-third quarter. Good effort guys! One of the refs actually suffered a heart attack in the middle of a play. Eventually carted  off the field to the ambulance. Poor guy… someone get him some asprin!
